Mothers Union

The Mothers Union is extremely active at St Mary's, and is
involved in a large number of church events either directly,
or behind the scenes.


DATES FOR FOR FOR  OCTOBER 2018

Tuessday 2nd October - Maggie de Vos, who lives in the Sovereign Harbour area, is coming to tell us about her experiences when walking the last 500 miles of a pilgrimage across part of Spain. It involved a great deal of exhausting effort and finished at the beautiful Catholic Cathedral of St James in Santiago de Compostela. Some of you may have seen the television programme about other people making this journey and this is an opportunity to hear how a seventy year old lady with two walking sticks managed to succeed in her ambition.

Sunday 21st October - MU Christmas cards on sale in Church Hall after 9.45am service

ADVANCED NOTICE FOR NOVEMBER

Tuesday 6th Novber - Trevor Weeks from the Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance  Service is coming to tell us about his work. This is a subject of interest to many people so do bring anyone who is interested. There will be a collection to give him a donation.
