Family Support Work

Food Box:

Please don't forget the food box at the back of church.

Now that we are in the school holiday season, there is even more of a need for help with groceries and in particular the following items:

biscuits, tinned fruit, tuna and vegetables, cereals, fruit and cereal bars, chocolate spread, crackers, jam, long life milk, pasta and pasta sauce, peanut butter, quick cook rice, squash, tea, coffee, sugar, tomato soup, toilet rolls, cleaning products, sun screen and baby wipes.  If you would like to contribute just one item from the above to the box at the back of church, that would be greatly appreciated.

Charity Shop:

The shop in Eastbourne is currently running low on stock. In order to keep the rails fresh and attractive, they are in need of more donations of all kinds, but particularly toys and clothes for older children. If you have recently had a spring clean and have some good quality second-hand items you would like to donate, then the shop would be very grateful to receive them. Also, please don't forget to visit to see if you can buy a pre-loved item!

Did you know?  FSW offers free, confidential, emotional and practical support to parents, carers and their children living in Sussex, including any adult with long-term responsibility for a child age 0-18 living in the same household. It can take a referral from anyone who identifies a need within a family including individuals and self referrals, educational and social welfare professionals, churches, etc.

If you have any fresh ideas for fund raising, or would like to become more involved, then please give Sue Walsh a ring on 423410.  Many thanks.
